Hi everyone.
I am a pilot who has recently completed flight training. I thought of applying as a cabin crew member with a larger airline company since the unemployment for newly trained pilots are quite high.
Can anyone supply me with a bid of info on that.

How much are the salary paid. Are there any restriksions on height. (195cm - 6ft 5in - in this case)
And how are the chances in general to get a job in the cabin crew.

Thanks you in advance for your help:-)
Henrik

You're a BIG BOY Henrik - and in this case it might not be an asset!
Here in the UK most low cost carriers are constantly looking for crew - and the charter carriers will be looking cone this October again (for next summer). I think bmi out of LHR are always on the search too. Try some of their websites.......

Good Luck!!

Hiya,

A mate on my course at MYT ws in the same position.
He started the crew training course becuase eh couldn get a pilots job, and is currently flying long and short haul with MYT as Cabin Crew and is loving it!

Its really good to learn how the other part of the cabin works, and also gives you a headstart in CRM.

The height restrictions are usually (depending on a/c type) 5"4 - 6"2.

Weight in proportion to height.

Hope this helps, go for it!
