Hi. Could anybody tell me, if you are able to be based in Europe if you join SIA Cargo as F/O. And further .... what are the entry requirement for Dragon Air Cargo.

No overseas basing therefore you must unfortunately live in Singapore. No choice.

Yes SJ is correct.

Note Cargo only 4 weeks leave pa F/O,s 3 weeks!!

Don't think getting a B744 on your licence is a meal ticket anymore so don't join for that reason.

This job is aimed at Pilots from the Third World where the once mighty Singapore Dollar stills buys them something in their home country's currency.

Many thanks - both of you. I know that the 744 is not a mealticket - but that goes for the 757 as well, which I am flying now. I have been looking for quite some time now for a new opportunity - but same problem every time. When you compare salarys paid in almost any currency, againsy the Euro it is simply not good enough these days. Thanks again. Twin2040.

Try 767 operators Air Vietnam , Gulf Air , Etihad .
Better deals for pay and leave............
