What about the gloriously non-PC:

Allahu Akh Bar

..that should upset the religious bigots - but which will, of course, be a totally C2H5OH-free zone?

Yeah, right.....:E

The great 'Cock and Pullet' until it was deemed far too un PC, though it took the Septics a considerable amount of time to spot it....

RAF Stanley 82 - toilets on airfield rare.

Some bright spark took a single portaloo, built cladding around it until it was a brilliant lookalike to Dr Who's time machine, complete with flashing blue light.

Its name?

Ahhhhh. The Talibar. Thumrait. Some good nights, some terrible nights, some great ones too.
I like the FBI near Boulmer. The sign looks far more exciting as FBI than the Fishing Boat Inn.

Mr C H :

Yes, Talibar indeed - do you remember its previous incarnation the Foobar? (built by those fine Royal Engineer chappies).

I will never forget the '2 can rule' and the 30 min bar extensions ("I am the One and Only"!! :-) )

There's was also the Muff Inn down in Qatar last year.

I wonder if that had anything to do with the excess of blonde USAF ladies there at the time ....?
