CAL information?

Hey guys & gals,

I would like some information on life at CAL.
I have tried doing a search, but have'nt come up with answers to my many questions.
I would especially like to hear from Aussies working for them.

My questions are:
1. Is it possible to commute? ( I have heard that you get 8 days off per month to allow this)
2. If not does the FO's salary afford a reasonable lifestyle in Taipei?
3. What is the cost/quality of housing in Taipei?
4. Are there any staff travel benefits?
5. Is the 3 to 4 years to command mentioned in another thread a reasonable expectation?
6. Are there any retirement/medical benefits?
7. What are the rosters like?
8. Have any aussies been interviewed recently?

As to questions 1. thru 8. DO NOT GO TO CAL AS AN F/O. You will be treated lower than dog****e and remain forever, just as lonely and discarded, in the right seat. :sad:
