Ryanair passenger numbers in June jumped 24% to 2.3 million against the year-ago period. Load factor gained 8 points to 87%. The Irish no-frills carrier noted that for the fifth consecutive month it carried more passengers in the England/Europe market than British Airways. BA's passenger totals on its European network in June dropped 1.9% on the year-ago period to 2.2 million. For the rolling 12 months ended June 30, Ryanair passenger numbers totalled 25.6 million and load factor reached 82%.
