Mascot Refuelers Award

A bloke I know on the Sydney/Mascot apron, refuelling, was awarded by Qantas, as being the most efficient and helpful refuellers of QF subsidiaries Australia Wide, for the past year.

A top effort I would have to say :ok: but do you know what their manager gave them in appreciation and congratualtions... A SMALL BAG OF IMITATION CHUPPA CHUPS, WITH THE PRICE LEFT ON IT ! :hmm: :rolleyes

What an insult.:yuk: Are these (pseudo) managers serious? How far out of touch are they?:suspect: : ... or is this just the norm now?:yuk:

Disappointing... awarded by QF as the best service in Aust, you'd at least expect the refuel managers to realise the efforts and award each a bottle of good red or shouted out for dinner/celebration... :oh:

They look to give both Easterns and GA pretty timely service. Are the managers "on the floor" or tucked away up in a remote office?... sounds like they're remotely tucked away, like many nowdays.:\
