Malaysian ATPL / Medical

Got a sniff on something in Malaysia so I;m checking some things out.

Will the Malaysians convert an FAA ATP to a Malaysian ATPL or would it be better/more acceptable to convert Aussie ATPL to Malaysian ATPL and what would be involved.

Does the Malaysian class1 medical follow the JAA/JAR standards for eyesight?? ie, less than -5 diopters for a class 1??

had a look at the website and fond out the conversion info but cant locate their medical standards....any ideas??
