On 16th June 2004 05:26 you stated "saving of over $1.2 billion in the intervening 13 years".

Do you still stand by your 1/3 for Industry, 1/3 for controllers and 1/3 for (then) CAA? If so, when can I as an ATC, expect my 3rd?

Or is the 1/3rd mantra consigned to history alongside "affordable safety".

By the look of the early draft for the CA entitled: "How to subdue serfs, by A. Vampyre" a more likely outcome would be to fund the millions wasted on "reforms" by 1/3 clawback from ATC, 1/3 clawback from the industry, 1/3 backdoor funding to regionals to keep the Nats happy and a big bonus for managers for copping the flak for the minister's inadequacies.

I never fail to be amused by Dick's willingness to grab credit for the savings from closing outstations for AMATS when they all came from the earlier CAMPS project, a project from the civil service DOA he hated so much.
