Any school will be delighted to take your money in return for an IR course, the important thing is whether the Swiss FOCA will add it to your licence.

It is not clear from your question whether you hold a Swiss national licence or a Swiss issued JAA licence. If it is the latter, then FOCA should add an instrument rating to it regardless of where the training and testing was carried out within the JAA. It may well be necessary, however, to show proof of the Organisation's JAA approval and that of the examiner.

If you hold a Swiss national licence, it is up to FOCA how they deal with ratings gained elsewhere in the JAA. In either case, check with FOCA before committing yourself to training outside Switzerland.
