Before anybody bites my head off for inappropriate posting and wasting time, I just want to know what is the best way of getting some work at one of the airlines based at Manchester Int.

I live in the South Manchester area and work as a flying instructor at the moment but am looking for something which is going to pay the bills and continue my contact with the airline world while I look for a flying job.

Where should I start? or am I wasting my time?

All advice gratefully received

As RowleyUK says Groundstar, better known as Swissport these days, especially MAN are looking for Dispatchers now. I believe they are after Full Time Perm experienced people, ie manual w&b trained etc and they are also looking for part timers as well.

Things are looking good for the guys there as two new contacts were announced today, Swissair and Freebird, with the promise of a lot more to come before the year is out.

Looks like they are going places.
