the helimission is a non profit organisation operating in several less or least developed countries in africa and asia.
( wamena, papua, indonesia )
( antananarivo, madagascar )
( palangka raya, kalimantan, indonesia )
( dar es salaam, tansania )
( trogen, switzerland )
the members of this project dedicate years of their lives
* to spread the good news among unreached tribes,
* to plant churches and communities
* to offer medevac flights for the surrounding region
they have worked together with multiple other organisations, both christian and non-religious (like medecins sans frontieres f.ex.) since the 1970īs when helimission founder simon tanner took the leap of faith in a used bell with an absolute minimum of flight experience.
william (pilot and mechanic) and robin patterson (station manager) will take a time out from their base in dar es salaam, tansania, for a well deserved 6 month vacation.
during that period the helicopter 5H-XSH will be without a pilot.
the helimission accepts reborn christians in the true sense of the word only.
if you are a christian with a serving attitude and a valid professional rotary license, you should consider giving some time,
to gain what others can only dream of.
