g'day all
i have got to submit an article online as a part of my undergrad degree in about two weeks and the topic runs "low cost carriers in Australia."

Now, I surely can write a bit about all the new and old low costs operating within our Oz sky. But could someone shed some light on this topic? I mean, whats the major "operational" difference between a QF domestic flight vs. Virgin flight, lets say from YPAD-Melb Tullemarine?

Like Ryanair and the rest in Europe, is the turnaround time less for Virgin than Qantas? Whats the usual flying hours for a Virgin 737 compared to that of a Qantas? Also, would Jetstar see other start-ups lining up at the same queue anytime soon?

It would be great if you could give me links so that I can put as much stuff in that article as possible.

Would greatly appreciate anything that you gotta offer.

Cheers
Richie
