Surely if Stansted hit :ouch: that many they'd be getting some lawsuits? I think I'll fly from Luton ... or maybe even Coventry ... instead!!!

Paxed into Stansted again this evening - another VOR hold over Barkway inbound. If this keeps up and the low costs lose their 25-minute turnarounds they will start getting hacked off with the place.

Never mind being in the hold, try being in the terminal!

Whenever I fly from there it feels like they're doing 20 million pax a day, never mind each year.

A little bit of nostalgia here. Can remember driving into STN in 1988 and listening on BBC radio 4 that STN had been announced as London's 3rd Airport at the same time I avoided the horse sh!t on the approach road to what was the main terminal. After that I watched the east side develop over the next few years.

Wish them good luck in future prospects
