View Full Version : Low flying Nimrod over Rickmansworth??
Hi,
At about 4ish this afternoon what looked like a Nimrod came straight over my house at probably no more than 2000ft. I live just to the north of Rickmansworth in Herts and it was heading west. Does anyone know what it was doing? Maybe coming out of Northolt? It didnt seem to be climbing.

2000' is not low flying for a Nimrod, at least not the MR variant :ok:

probably no more than 2000ft
It was on a "Romeo" non airways track from Northolt which climbs up to 2000 feet so well judged!
A prize for why it is named a "Romeo" departure!!

If it was on a Romeo depature then it was well off track to be north of Rickmansworth surely?? That departure track runs just south of Denham!
Anyway, not meaning to be an anorak - just interested!!

R is for Princes Risborough.
Not Rickmansworth......! :)
The other way out is a Charlie departure towards BPK which is a Cheshunt departure, also up to 2000 feet (which it may also of been)
