At Bristol:

All ramp activities are handled by Servisair/GlobeGround for all carriers, including BA.

But as far as the PAX handling side of things goes:

BA Citiexpress handle themselves as well as SN Brussels, Aer Lingus, Air Southwest and Eastern Airways.

Servisair/GlobeGround handle everyone else. There is a dedicated pax handling team for easyJet.

Update for BHX: MyTravel/MyTravel Lite now handled by Groundstar/Swissport, bmibaby :ok: handled by Aviance.

Regarding Swissport, dunno how much longer they might handle Air Slovakia in view of the damage inflicted to their 757-200 yesterday night...

A month or so ago another Air Slovakia 757 weathercocked and was blown by high winds into the adjacent stairs, and suffered damage to the port inboard leading edge and forward fuselage near door 2 Left. Still here on a remote stand being repaired.

Now another of Air Slovakia's 757s was apparently marshalled INTO the airbridge sunday evening. The BHX-ATQ flight had to be CANX. Not sure how many more 757s the company can field, but BHX's remote stands are starting to look like Air Slovakia's A&E...

That can't have done any good to Swissport's insurance premium, or their relations with Air Slovakia... :uhoh:

Another BHX update

Alitalia are handled by Swissport.

Skyways are handled by some outfit called Aviation Support, or something like that, well until they pull out anyway!

Almost forgot Slovak Airlines/Midland Airways, Swissport have the unenviable task of looking after them as well, if they ever get to fly again. i hear they tried to get the white 767 out to Dublin yesterday and failed!!!

From 01 June 2005, Swissport will take over the Emirates contract at Manchester from Servisair/Globeground. However Swissport will not be loading the aircraft, thats going to be done by Ringway. Emirates apparently would not pay Servisair's new price and went for the cheaper option, interesting really as Swissport have never really handled anything of this magnitude at Manchester.......

SAS will be handling KLM from the 18th Nov 2005 and EUJ obviously has

With regard to the post about Emirates wanting the cheaper option and going to Ringway is inaccurate. The contract was up for renewal and Ringway won the bid however since SAS handle Etihad at LHR there was a political conflict of interest and all 'above the wing' was awarded to Swissport who seem to be doing a pretty stand-up job it has to be said.

Cheers

Britishjet is from Swissport (undercut by a considerable amount apparently) but Swissport have got Air Malta from Servisair.

Seems that it's all change at BHX, Swissport losing a little (1 flight a week) and gaining a lot (200+ a week), and the other two trading smaller contracts. How long will it be before the bosses at Avalanche or the Circus pull the plug?? The news on the ground is that it would only take one more major loss for Aviance to go. KLM-Air France have a world wide contract with Swissport, could they be next:uhoh:
