Jetstar + MAM interviews BNE

Hi Guys

I'm going to be a very busy girl this week. I have an assesment day with MAM and a recruitment day for Jetstar all in Brisvegas! Any other PPruNers attending these days? And does anyone have any special tips they'd like to share? Anything will be greatly appreciated

Are jetstar interviews similiar to its parent, Qantas or its competition Virgin Blue?

hi everyone!
Didn't get much of a response from anyone about the jetstar interviews.....So I'm guessing there might be of few people out there wondering what they are like?

Pretty basic really, which was a relief to me. The jetstar recruitment team were really friendly and so were the other applicants. I met some lovely people!

First we all had to introduce ourselves and do the whole 'tell us about you' thing. Then the jetstar people gave us some info about the airline and after that we broke up and did 2 group activities. One was to solve a hypothetical robbery the other to choose who would stay on a life boat out of 6 people.

The whole thing probably took an hour and a half. We find out next week if we have been succussful. They are recruiting for bases SEQ and HOB. Fingers crossed :D

Hey guys yeah i went to the jetstar recruitment day on thursday in Brisbane, i was one of the youngest there, and one of only 3 males, they said we would hear some time this week how we went and if we had made it through to the next stage, just wondering if any one had heard any thing yet?

I had my interview on Thurs too and still waiting to hear from jetstar aswell. :{
Hopefully we will hear soon anyway, and put and end to the waiting. Can't complain though, I have read some horror stories on this forum of people being on short lists for Qantas for over 18 months....ergh!

I have already heard from MAM and I'm going to a panel interview on Sat :D

So at least that is some good news.
