I am considering applying to UAE ... direct entry Captain.... any suggestions??? what's the medical like??? term of contract??? anything you may have will help.... thanks.

The UAE is the country, it has a number of airlines I presume Emirates is the airline you mean. there are quite a few others. I suggest you go to the M/E forum you'll get all the info there.
A newcomer called Ethihad is a better bet than EK ...
