VFR Radio Areas - Another patch?

So the word is starting to filter from on high about VFR Radio Areas (VRAs). Capcom, tobzalp and ****zu do you have any more information? There is very little available in the public domain.

So are we to get another unique Australian "area" to make our airspace more like US airspace?

What problem exactly is NAS solving?

Word has it that there is a meeting where all the training people are going to get together state what they will require time and resource wise for option 3 and 4 and the Board will make a final decision on that. (from memory 3 is C steps into C Capital cities and 4 is the VRA proposal where the). Or so I have heard.
