Has anyone been into Siem Reap Cambodia or Hanoi in the recent past that could convey their experiences?

If by recent you mean within two years then yes.

Neither a challenge, both have ILSs and are in flat country side...although hills not far north of Hanoi. ATC of typical standard for the region.

I am wondering about the quality of English spoken by ATC, the effect of the monsoon rains on operations, handling issues, local customs, the quality of navigational facilities, etc.. More than anything, I would just like to hear how it went with other folks. What went right and what went wrong.
