Damn ... so embarrassed I have not been in a very long time ... yes Tony S ... very ... :E
We received a gift from a certain country last year ( A VIP SeaKing Commando). It was standing for a long time .. we got Tony S who previously flew it to give us a conversion and after lots of initial gremlins she flew and she is a beauty.
The big boss though prefered a civilian Mi - 8 with sail seats as ... uhmmm let's leave that part.
Anyway today he said is his day he is flying in his new toy ... and what happened ... # 2 engine did not want to start ... no damn ignitors :hmm:
So highly :\ the civilain Mi - 8 landed next to us and took the boss away ... :oh:
But it did not end their ... the tail was hanging over the sea side of the port and a massive Grimaldi Liner could not "park" - he had to wait another 2 hours for us with all his heavy duty vehicles and cranes waiting in constipation around us ... :bored:
So we waited for spares to be delivered by bakkie, put in the new "black box" and voila off we went ... just to land in bad moods at work !
Eischh what a damn embarressing day was had by 3 crew members ... third damn black box in 25 hours ! ! !
What a day (and it was such a pure blue beautiful day after severe storms and the start of our rainy season ...
:ouch:
