I've got a trip to Bodrum(sp?), Turkey this summer and wanted to know what there was to do there for a week.
Are there bars? Are the restaurants good?

Seem to remember Bodrum being a holiday hot spot so there will be no shortage of bars and restaurants etc for you to enjoy. There are many markets selling cheap (fake) designer clothing and also many gold shops where the prices are very cheap. The Turkish currency is virtually worthless so take either dollars or sterling and enjoy the sun

Re: The Turkish currency. In my previous life, I found a 1,000,000 Bir note in the hallway of the Concorde Lafayette in Paris. I immediately ran down to the exchange to see how wealthy I was. The lady laughed at me.
