I am truly ashamed of myself!!! Only 67%:( :{
Although I admit being fooled into thinking no apostrophe when 'apostrophe ess' was in fact correct on two questions, there was one question in the comma section with which I would argue!!:*

You only live twice. Once when
you're born. Once when
you've looked death in the face.

92%

And the disturbing thing is, the one apostrophe question I got wrong, I only got wrong because I have read different opinions on the use of apostrophes, and followed one that differs slightly from the rules used there.

Please, someone employ me: I clearly have way too much time on my hands!

Due to the heavy use of these forums we would prefer it if you are going to post something then please make sure it is worthwhile and at least 15 characters long. One liner replies such as 'Yes', 'No' or 'I agree' for example, are not necessary and only use up valuable bandwidth. Please use your back button to change your reply or use the link below to go to the forums.

Well Hugh, I must confess we got slapped and caned - well a cane of sorts : they used to hit us with the cane handle of a feather duster ...

Of course this was a looong time ago (60's) ... I think they were getting back at the world for having to wear those long black habits - and of course for being sexuality repressed...

Eye,
That bought back memories. The cane on the feather duster:{. Being left-handed didn't help either. In their futile attempts to change me, they would chant "That's the hand of Satan" as the cane came down on the knuckles of my left hand!:} :E

Never mind, I always got even with the b'stards ;)

Ahh, the 60's. The halcyon days of corporal punishment :ouch:...Who else saw Armstrong walk on the moon?

92%.
I didn't get 100% because the answer children's is not correct. It should be either childrens', or child's. In fact children's would never make sense since the apostrophe before the s represents a singular particle, but the word children refers to more than one. At least, I think so.

Might have to get back to basic's on that one.
