Looks like Santa Barabara will begin service to Miami. If I am not mistaken, I believe this will be operated with TransMeridian 757s. Luis - do you have any more information?

Hey LatinAviation,

The only info that I have is the one I got from Sta. Barbara's website (where the a.net thread info comes from). The only thing that I can add is that I suspect that the Transmeridian's 757s are the ones previously used by Air Santo Domingo before they pulled out of MIA.

I plan on flying to MIA in July. Right now my first choice is Aeropostal at 333$. The other choice I got is AA at $375 (both roundtrips).I'm anxious to know what will be Sta. Barbara's price for the route.

I'll try to find out from some friends if they know the date of the arrival of the B757s in CCS.

hi there
theyve been saying that for age's
i worked there and i know how the cookie crumbles
that Idea of the 757 1st came in mid April 2OO3
over a year ago
and the plan was to get pilots selected from within the
ATR to fly it with an american validation
or get the ones that already had a FAA lic.
but as much of the things.......all is plans and more plans
the other thing that would suck is that they would fly
an nice jet but with a crappy salary in Bs!!!!!!
more of the same!!!!!
see ya
