I'm off to Cairns next month for a weeks holiday and would love to go for a fly while over there. Can any advise of a aero club or opperator who i could rent an aircraft from. Also any particular locations to fly to or activities worth having a look at .

How I miss those Friday evenings at the NQAC getting pissed after a hard week of flogging around the Cape and Gulf country. Sitting outside getting eaten by the sand flies, listening to war stories, watching the heavy metal depart and then trying to negotiate the breathalyzer on the Captain Cook High Way to get home. Those were the days.

Yeeessss. I know exactly what you mean! :yuk:

I thought it only reasonable to give fair warning to visitors to Cairns!!! :E

Solowflyer. Undara (http://www.undara.com.au/) and Cooktown (http://www.cooktowns.com/) :ok:

And - again - beware the Aero Club on Friday evening.......... :=
