Cabin Crew NVQ...anyone got one?

Has anyone out there got, or are in the process of attaining, an Air Cabin Crew NVQ. If so - did it help you get a job in the industry?

Have you all heard that there is such a thing?

Is it worth it?

what is a Cabon Crew NVQ?

An NVQ over here is a vocational certificate that you get after a college course where you learn about the aspects of the job....from basic SOP's, SEP's, First Aid, Customer Service, Airline jargo, phsysiology and psychology of flying for passengers and crew, global trends etc etc
By the lack of any replies I can be certain in my thinking that the aviation industry regards itself as self efficient and in no need of a ready-made work force!

These cabin crew courses are not really valued i dont think,

why go to college for a year or so, and learn some random generic airliine information, when every airline selects candidates in potential and trains them "their" way for 4 weeks anyway?

I have worked for 3 airlines, and never ahd any kind of NVQ in Cabin Crew or similar.

I just think youre better off going straight in to the industry.

The colleges seem to teach you lots of diferent pre flight checks and SEP, which differ quite a lot from airline to airline.

Why confuse yourself?
