I read the post below and people mention age as a limit to lots of the sponsorship schemes.

I've just had a look at the GAPAN small print and have totally been taken a back at the upper age limit- which means I can't apply now- as I'm 25. grrr!!!!

Does anybody know of by heart of the age limits for other schemes and can they post them below please? A thread on this might be useful at a glance for people to see just where they stand or sit in a wheel chair for that matter if they are too old.....

another thing- I missed the RAF upper limit too - 23 yrs 8mnths after they failed me last year after the final phase. However- you can enter as a Nav or something else and request a transfer to become a Pilot before you become 29 years old. I met an Flight Sgt doing this at OASC. But however this is apparantly dogged with problems as your boss has to reccommend you and maybe wouldn't take kindly to you being disinterested in your then job from the outset.
