Not a wannabee any more but could do with some quick help!

I know there are at least 2 books with useful stuff on interviews, especially tech questions but I dont know their titles, can anyone help and recommend?

Thanks in anticipation

I just had a search in Transair's (http://www.transair.co.uk/)online catalogue.

"Preparing for your Cathay Pacific Interview: The Pilot's Guide" by Captains X Y and Z. 6th. Edition. £23.95

Also one for Emirates.

There's others there. I used the search word "Interview".

"Great Answers to Tough Interview Questions" by Martin Yate. ISBN: 0-7494-3552-6.

Great book, and not just for interviews either. There is another thread on here that is worth a look;

Tough Interviews (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127806)

Good luck!

The above book is a very old text (1967 originally) and hard to read in large chunks, but does contain much valuable information. It tends to be regarded as the 'bible' for several companies interviews. In an easyjet interview, for example, perhaps 70% of the tech interview questions can be answered directly from this book. Worth getting hold of a copy.

I quite fancy a read of 'Handling The big Jets'. Anyone have a copy they might like to offload cheap ? - it's £20 on Amazon, that's more than most instructors earn in a month!

:sad:

alfalpha, try "Ace the Technical Pilot Interview" by Gary V Bristow. A condensed version of the entire ATPL notes.
