Keep your eyes open on Monday...

The new World of TUI uniform launches on Monday 5th of May and its a VAST improvement on the current 'red, white and blue' number.

There are numerous variations of the uniform so , if you don't like what you first see, look again and you may see someone else looking slightly different and think WOW.

Off to Orlando in the morning for the last time in the 'clown suit '

Hi,

I worked for Britannia cabin crew last year and before i left (Oct 03) there was a new uniform coming. Is this another new uniform or the one which was being proposed last year?

Cheers
Dave

Sorry BYLady. Of course its the 10th...

Just back from SFB, last time in the old look. Ground staff were in the new uniform and it looked nice on them.

Can't wait for Tuesday...first time in it on the PMI..

p.s. good luck Aerofoil.

If you look on the Britannia website under "Britannias new look" theres a picture of crew in the new uniform. Not sure if i'm a fan yet but think its one of the ones that will grow on me!!!

I operated on the 10th, BHX-HER-BHX, there were 5 of us on the crew; 3 in the new uniform and 2 in the old. Sadly, I was one of the ones in the old uniform!

There are a lot of crew still wearing the old uniform at the moment, whilst the manufacturing company clears the backlog of re-sized orders. I haven’t spoken to anyone from the company that got everything the right size at the right time, possibly something to do with the ridiculous European sizing tables...

I even had to send my trolley bag back because after 2 weeks of use, 2 of the zips had broken rendering the lock useless!

Expect to continue spotting the 'classic' uniform on board for at least the next two weeks!

Having moaned a lot, I must say, the crew that were in the new uniform on the 10th really enjoyed wearing it, and looked great! :ok:

Just wanted to say saw the new BY uniform at BHX on Monday and thought it look really smart, but there was one crew member still in the old uniform. Just looked out of place.

But great new look :ok:
