Hello, I am seeing conflicting conversion factors for fire water.

I believe that Avgas is
1 USG = 6.0lbs
1 L = 1.58lbs
I L = 0.72 kg
1 USG = 2.72 kg

What about for JetA1 ???

Pardon me, but could someone please explain what "avgas" is? Is it something you put in flying ("av") cars ("gas", I assume, short for gazzoline)?.

This has got to be a windup.

OK Bloggsie me old cock, I'll bite.
AVGAS = Aviation Gasoline.

At the risk of letting my sarcasm out of it's cage for a run I'll tell you that:
AV TUR is not turpentine for cleaning paint brushes used to paint aeroplanes. :}

Don't forget to add the temperature factor to get your SG

Whats SG?.....

Specific Gravity.

If you don't, your planned weight may be heavier/lighter than you thought.
