Are there any moves to the JAA,regarding allowing TRE"s to continue to train and sign liciences for simulators, without a valid class 1 medical.
It does seem to me that a very good respected trainer who can no longer qualify for a class one, would be a loss to the training industry for a condition which is likely to have very little effect on his ability to continue in the simulator enviroment.
I note with interest that AME "s can now continue to sign up medicals well into their advancing years and quite right too.Are we at last seing an outbreak of common sence.

A late reply, but very much in agreement. Some of us oldies have learnt to have some respect for our colleagues over the years, unlike some of the hysterical cretins that make or break careers these days.
