Dad was asking why Aer Lingus have suddenly had A330s and A300s flying from LHR. This was yestersay about 8 o clock he saw 3. Within 1 hour.

Agreed. Wonder why he said that? They have A320s according to the site, but he would have known that :confused:

I suspect it was extra lift to move Rugby fans to the Heineken Cup semi-final in Landsdowne Road.

Does he possibly mean A321s - don't Aer Lingus operate these into LHR?

Ill speak to him later. But as it stands, I think Hamrah has hit the nail on the head. I dont know the rugby schedules, so you may be joking :confused: But it sounds good to me :)
(and yes, they do operate them into LHR)
