Apologies if this has been done - I've been "off line" for over a week - seems the United States are backing down on the 'armed sky marshalls on foreign aircraft' idea.

That will probably translate to less Americans flying to/from the states on European Carriers. Also close scrutiny on routing and interception when close to U.S. territory........less politically sensitive if they have to be taken out for security reasons.

NOBODY will be flying to/from the states on European carriers cos the US will try to have them all cancelled on "security grounds".....!!

Europeans have less to fear from so more passengers for Air France
