Anyone else enjoying the above series, airing on BBC Four on Thursday nights? One for you VFE?

Missed the first, but caught last night's. Slightly weird to revisit the haunts of my youth, Flamingo, Marquee etc. One of the things that makes me appreciate having being a teenager in the 60s!

Great to hear praise given to the likes of Clapton and Winwood from peers like the incomparable Mayall! Also Tom Jones in an "Unusual" rule.

Trying to find out whether the series will be released on DVD, but still trying to unravel the BBC maze.

Next week Clint Eastwood presents "Piano Blues" including Dave Brubeck and Ray Charles.

Preview the rest of the series here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/music/features/blues.shtml)

Thanks Rushton had been there, but couldn't see where you buy it! Looks as though it is available on other sites though, but may be pricey!

John Mayall on BBC Four tonight(23/4) at 21:00hrs(BST) in concert for one hour(70th birthday!), followed by his bio, then a repeat of last night's "The Blues". Hope there's something for Mrs NW to watch on terrestrial! :E
