Am I alone in the unfortunate experience that wherever one ends up in the workplace, there always seems to be one amongst the assembled who has taken prickdom to new heights??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" /> . .. .Now it may well be that some over the years have held the same opinion of the JD (although a remote possibility <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> ) , but at the risk of opening a real can of worms, can anyone assure me that I am not the only fu#$wit magnet in the workforce?. .. .yours in need of assurance . .. .JD. .. . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

If it was only one it would have been a case of maintaining a stiff upper something or other and muddling through. Unfortunately, the arrival of the "Me first" crowd seems to have created a proliferation in those life forms not seen since I forgot about that Camembert in the fridge last year.

Alas folks, this is too true. Get a happy outfit, all working well, good performance figures, and some c**t will try to "improve" it to the general displeasure of all but themselves and the degradation of morale, esprit de corps, and efficiency. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />. . . . <small>[ 26 March 2002, 22:40: Message edited by: tartan gannet ]</small>

It's the MBA types fresh out of some university or other, and just itching to find out of if that case study concept that just wowed them down in the snug of the "Dog and Compass", can work in practise. When it becomes apparent to all and sundry that it wont work, they then decide that the current workforce is un-worthy of their talents, and they ****** off to spend 6 months at the next place until they too wake up to the bludger. If Shakespeare was writing to day he'd say, "Lets kill all the accountants", instead of the lawyers...although

Oh christ tell me about it! The worst offenders are those [email protected] nearing retirement who feel they have to "contribute" something before they leave. This translates into constant f*ck-ups for months on end before it finaly hits home to the stupid management d!cks that the retiree's "new way" doesnt work and the old way was much better and more eficient.. .. .Endless bloodey Company manual amendments!

Perhaps its a bit like a poker game:. .. .In any poker game there is ALWAYS a bunny.. .If you look around the table, and you can't see who it is -. .Then it is probably YOU.. .. .So in an office,. .. .In any office, there is ALWAYS a prat,. .If you work in an office, and you don't know who it is...

Worst of all, a manager who has "departmental efficiencies and savings" linked into his performance bonus. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" />

In spite of what your profiles may say, I take it that you are all employed in the NHS, or your bosses have recently escaped from there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
