At the moment "Rapture" by Io.. .I'd have to have a think and go through the CD collection to find my ultimate.

In the housey/vocal front, I'd say Not Over Yet by Grace. Reminds me of early clubbing days at Uni.. .. .Hersh

Does having a favourite dance track imply in any way that you can dance, might dance, or might once have attempted to dance?. .. .NO?. .. .Good, in that case, Sugar Sugar by the Archies. .. .And if any young bugga sugests that I'm an old bugga cos I can remeber it... just look out!!

Awesome music to drive to: "Cream" by Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones, or "Beginning to Fly" by Re-Move (appropriate and a brillant track!).

I heard a remix of Donna Summer's "I feel love". The remix was done by Sister Bliss and Rollo (from Faithless). Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Favourite track of the moment;. .. ."Frontier Psychiatry" by the Avalanches. .. .Otherwise, anything from the Ninja Tune record label.. .Born Slippy is indeed a classic though - I stood ten feet away from Karl Hyde at Manchester Apollo as he performed it - magic.

Ooh, so many. . .. .All time favourite dance track, which also incidentally makes my top five best songs ever, is Offshore by Chicane. Possibly the original more than the 1997 vocal version. Some great mixes too. . .. .Other high points I'd go for are "For an Angel", by Paul Van Dyk, "Papua New Guinea" by the Future Sound of London, and any of the Northern Exposure discs by Sasha and Digweed. Oh, and American Dream/American Booty by Jakatta. . .. .... And there was that track called ... erm ... Spin Spin Sugar by the Sneaker Pimps, but only the Armand Van Helden version is any good . . . . [ 27 March 2002, 13:59: Message edited by: SpinSpinSugar ]

Too many people showing their age out there!! Correct me if I'm wrong Tech Chick, but didn't you mean 'Dance track' rather than 'track to dance to'?. .. .Anyway, 'Chime' by Orbital. Brings back some fantastic Glasto memories.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Fatboy Slim's Bird of Prey(....ey....ey....ey....ey......). . two things: One, it always reminds me of the sounds (muffled engine whineing through popping ears), smells(stale air) and sights (circular rainbows looking like RAF roundels in the clouds!) of being in an aircraft (albeit in the back as an slf, but when you see as little of them as me, you cherish it!). That song always brings it all back like it was yesterday!. .. .two, it makes you think of flying and yin/yang balance at the same time, luvvverly.. .. .Fave track? has to beeee, ummmm, ah, Yo Mamma by same. Always have it on reading Jetblast . . . . [ 28 March 2002, 22:41: Message edited by: Nose Indiana Groond ]

Rez/Cowgirl (live version) by Underworld. It's the dog's. Saw Underworld's live set at Glasto 1999 and it was awesome. IMHO they are the best of that rare breed - a techno outfit who also play live (although Orbital are close challengers).. .. .Other ones I'd also go for are For An Angel by Paul van Dyk and 1998 (PvD remix) by Binary Finary.. . . . [ 29 March 2002, 08:26: Message edited by: foghorn ]
