VARIG, in conjunction with tour operator Blue Brazil, will launch a weekly (Friday) flight from New York (JFK) to Natal, Brazil (NAT).
Schedules are as follows:
RG 9879 JFK 2200 NAT 0700+1
RG 9878 NAT 1200 JFK 1940
Flights will operate with a 767, but their site doesn't specify whether it's a -200ER or -300ER, but their site does say it is configured for only 12 business class seats.
The service is designed in conjunction with hotel and tour operators in Natal, to raise awareness of Natal as a leisure destination in the US market. This week's edition of Travel Agent magazine features an article on the new service, but the article has not yet been posted on their site.
