I was wondering yet again, as I do, about things topical and in the news today.

Today is the Queens 78th Birthday.

Happy Birthday Dear Queen,
Happy Birthday Dear Queen,
Happy Birthday Dear Queeny,
Happy Birthday to you.

Now come the questions....

Does the Queen like chips and gravy?
Does she make her own bed?
Does she ever put the bins out?
Does she ponder what to make for tea?
Does she fill her own bath?

I realise I could be banished from here and transported to the Colonies for such a thread but I dont care. I'm going to Email the Palace and include any other questions you might want answered.

T.I.M.

Glad to see you back :ok:

One guesses one has a couple of moggy-related questions

Does the Queen like cats ?
Does she have any at Buckingham Palace ?
Does she feed them ?
Does she scratch their head ?
Does she she change their litter ?
Does she drive them to the vet or is there an appointed vet who comes to the palace ?

Hi TIC,

The Palace does not have an email address would you believe, but I'm going to sign the Guest book......(maybe we should all do that) ..... no.... no ...no.... I bet they have Mods there too!!!!

Who locks the front door at night?
Who puts the milk bottles out?
Does she shop at Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys?
When the toilet roll runs out who changes it?( thats if she is on the Throne!!!!)
Does she chuck her washing in a linen basket?
Has she got a favourite pair of slippers?

Airship,

I went to the party, no one saw me though !

What sort of birthday presents did the Queen receive today?

(alas, I fear that Her Majesty must be somewhat disappointed compared to her predecessors: "Your Majesty, may I present you ummh, the United States of America?!") :(

I think T.I.M. will be on the large voddies once he gets to Perth!

And on a more controversial note, who voted for Queenie? My mother's father was an establishment man who helped found the present day Inland Revenue in the 1920s.

He was an ardent republican who told them to stuff their gong up their ass. Lovely bloke.

Yes, sometimes one borrows a nickname such as this one, to see what Mummy's subjects are up to.

Mummy hates cats, but I don't mind them if they are served with peanut sauce and rice.

And birthdays are always a problem in Buckinghuge Palace. One means, what can one give to somebody who already has everything? Penicillin?

Enough frivolity. One shall give this nickname back to its owner, who will probably now try to sell it to the Daily Mail. Too rah...

I'm minding my own business, but it puzzles me a bit when you say that flyblue is really HRH Princess AnneI didn't know that HRH was so fluent in French and Italian.

An afterthought, though, maybe HRH has hired two translators (by appointment), just for PPrune.

Cheer up T.I.M., I know it's hard to accept at first. Look at me, I sulked for almost a whole week! Now you're a (founding) member of a very exclusive club. Probably stay that way too unless the mods get cracking! :E

Anyway, I've found how you can keep track on the quality of your cotton sheets: Do a search under your exact user name and check the show results as posts box. Hey presto, 601! (http://www.pprune.org/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=825595&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending&pagenumber=1) :)

BTW M. Bre901, HRH Queen Lizzy II speaks fluent Franšais as shown during her recent Royal visit here. She needs work on the accent though...

Mr airship,

I'm quite aware of that and I did hear HRH's speech on the French wireless.

My question was about HRH Princess Anne.
