Andre Goosen RIP

I just got an email from a friend who mentioned 'Goose" passed away.
I dont have the particulars and hoping someone will add to the thread.
I knew Goose as the OIC of the fixed wing side of the Police Air Wing in Pretoria area. Always very kind to me.
As I always say to folks, life is short, enjoy it as best you can.

I've just heard about it as well - apparently a massive heart attack. Very sad. Goose & I didn't always see eye to eye but he did what he felt was best.

There's a place in Namibia called Okongwati - Goose was the MAOT there for two terms - the SAAF knew it as Goose Bay. Was the late great Chris Louw who gave it that name.

Goose will be missed as a friend who always had the time to greet folk and as a pilot.

:sad: Very sad news. RIP Goose.

Heard about it yesterday as well. Apparently he was playing with his grandchild on Sunday, complained of a pain in his chest and passed away straight thereafter. As 4HP says, a very quick massive heart attack.
