If you have an Australian CPL with IR then to get a JAR CPL and IR you'll have to do:
JAR class one medical at Gatwick. ~£200. (£411 if no ICAO class 1)
14 JAR ATPL exams and theory. ~£700 for the exam fees. Budget £2,000 for the theory. I'd look at Bristol Ground School distance learning.
Since you have an ICAO IR then you just have to do a min of 15 hours for the conversion. No idea what that would cost. Budget £3-5,000. Possibly some other flying in there for the CPL bit.
Allow for the MCC £2,000 and these days, £15,000 for a type rating.

I don't know of any one in the UK currently doing JAR CPL exams. Most just go straight onto the ATPL because that combines the CPL and IR theory too.

Of course, if you can find a VH registered aircraft over there, you can fly that.... no conversions req..
