A reliable source indicates the operator "Flightline" have been contracted to operate two BAE 146 flights a day LHR-MAN / MAN-LHR.

I understand this wetlease arrangement will operate from June to September.

What QF have planned for slots after then is anyones guess.

It seems BA are VERY upset at QF's slot purchase given revenue on the Kangaroo route is supposed to be shared as per the joint services agreement.

SYD-HKG-LHR perhaps?????

Couldn't BA and QF codeshare on the HKG-LHR portion of the SYD-HKG-LHR service?

I don't see the big deal - particularly if HKG-LHR is brought under the JSA like SIN-LHR and BKK-LHR.

Why should QF give away something they don't have to? QF have always known that SYD HKG LHR is a winner and have waited a long time to do it. The closest they came was SYD HKG SIN (or BKK) LHR.

LHR-HKG for QF looks like it's now a real possibility - see www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127076 (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127076).
