Just wondered as I'm working on one right now. (VB & .NET)

Apart from the extra revenue it generates for Microsoft, I think certification is an excellent idea and sadly lacking in the mainframe world.

Nope, but I'm studying for my ULCP (UnitedLinux Certified Professional) and if I survive that for the ULCE (will need a long holiday in between I think)
