Funny - I was talking to the Prince himself this morning and one of his first questions was:. ."Is that clown Mauritz Suter gay?". .. .Said I wouldn't know but from what I had read he certinly had quite a few mental problems.

I think the "who cares" have the argument for now. Of course the answer to that is "thousands of teenage girls". However, knowing how accurate rumours tend to be, I would say there is about a 3% chance (my own estimate of the proportion of the UK poopulation that is gay).

1 Does it matter? Many English Kings have been "Queens" but have still been able to do the job required. William II, Richard I, Edward II, Richard II, James I, William III. (Especially now that the Monarch is a mere figurehead and does not, for example, have to lead troops into battle etc).. .. .2 I very much doubt it. Now had our pet retard asked "Is Prince EDWARD Gay?" then I would have to have said that on the balance of probabilities he could well be so or at least bi-sexual. Again I ask DOES IT MATTER?. .. .3 Danny, I beseech you. Use your dictatorial, despotic, moderatorial and site owner's powers to rid JB of this idiot in the same way you did after very great toleration to JB and Capt ED and others. Im sure if you set this as a poll many other JB regulars would agree!. .. .4 I personally think that Brittney Spears is a slag and wouldn't touch her with yours, Moritz Suter, but this I can assure you does NOT make me Gay either. I prefer more mature, intelligent, and plumper WOMEN, preferably redheads to this type of silly young blonde bimbo.. . . . [ 23 March 2002, 14:23: Message edited by: tartan gannet ]

I'm thinking about buying a new car, would you get the diesel version or stay with the petrol edition? Please elaborate!

Loki
24th Mar 2002, 14:34
Justforkix:. .. .According to Dire Straits, "if you want to run cool, you`ve got to run on heavy heavy fuel" so I`d go for the diesel.. .. .I`m with someone else on this thread, the office of monarch transcends personal traits, and that includes sexual orientation; in other words, who gives a sh*t?

HugMonster
24th Mar 2002, 16:34
I have heard it said that HM the Queen likes milk put in her cup after the tea.. .. .Can we please discuss whether this makes her a fit person to be monarch?. .. .Furthermore, it is rumoured that Prince Charles drinks neither coffee nor tea.. .. .I think the public, who will eventually have him as monarch, should be told the truth. Is this a suitable role model for our children?

Tartan Gannet
24th Mar 2002, 16:43
Huggy, I would have thought that his choice of paramour would be enough to make people doubt his wisdom. Mind you, Edward VIII gave it all up for a woman who to my mind was skinny and plug ugly. I suppose, even for Royals, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Loki
24th Mar 2002, 17:40
Tartan Gannet. .. .Edward the VIII was a Nazi sympathiser, so we ought to thank the Americans for sending him that dreadful woman.

Tartan Gannet
24th Mar 2002, 18:00
Yes, thats a fair point Loki. Edward's conduct after Abdication as regards Hitler and the Third Reich was questionable to say the least, and his subsequent behaviour when in Portugal led Churchill to send him well out of the way to the Caribean as a Governor General. (Fancy uniform but no real power or influence).. .. .There being no perceived enemy at present, save perhaps Al Queda and Bin Laden, then the same scenario cannot be envisaged regarding Prince Charles. Many people, myself included, do not feel he is the right person to be our next Monarch, whatever the rules of succession and primogeniture may say, and I personally hope that the present Queen follows her mother in longevity and that Charles predeceases her so that William, perhaps by then in his 40s, becomes out next King either as William V or whatever name he choses. . .. .To return to the Idiot Suter's original question. Whether Prince William is Gay or not is of no consequence, but if my opinion is sought, never having met the bloke face to face, Id say almost certainly NOT! He comes across as being straight and is certainly one of the World's most eligible bachelors!

JFK.I would have to go for diesel. The MPG figures in general out perform an equivilent petrol model and the increasing availability of turbo diesel models means that we no longer have to compromise on performance.. .. .Come come Hugmonster surley you should know better than to believe these vicious lies about the Queen and her 'tiffin' habits. It's merely propeganda fueled by the media to discredit HRH and the Monarchy.. .. .As for HRH PC not drinking tea or coffee surley you aren't suggesting that he has joined the thousands of other wierdos who have given up these beverages for the benefit of their health. You'll be saying next that he partakes in regular excersise. . .. .ps. does anyone else think Britany has had a breast reduction?

I haven't even bothered to read any of the posts. But to answer the original question. It doesn't really matter as he will marry some suitable filly and breed some heirs to the throne as that is his function in this world. What he does in his spare time is his business. I doubt if he is gay though, more like a virgin which at his age nowdays is considered the same thing.. .As a rather crude friend of mine said back in 78 of Diana. 'She's good breeding stock, that's all they want'. So he is too.

It is quite obviously missing. I don't know the time between these pics having been taken, but you might expect to see a coffee mug in at least one of them, yet it is quite obviously not there. The camera does not lie.. .. .There is clearly a conspiracy within the government to cover up what we thought we knew. What is worse, anyone who questions the government version of events is immediately labelled as being anti-coffee/tea.. .. .In the final picture (the one in which he is clearly teaching Prince William not to drink coffee, and in full view of the press photographers, you will note that (a) the date and time of the photo are quite obviously missing. His hand is in his left pocket, and, as everybody knows, there is just not room in a jacket pocket for both a hand and a coffee mug.. .. .And yet the government remains mysteriously silent on the matter. Could it be that they know HRH has been abducted by Martians? And having been abducted, could this explain his apparent penchant for going green, which is, since we've now established he's a Martian, his natural colour?. .. .I think it's time someone told the truth.. . . . [ 24 March 2002, 18:33: Message edited by: HugMonster ]

TG, I have to ask, does it mean you think if you're gay you can't lead troops into battle? Evidently, the Duchess of Windsor had other qualities which attracted and kept the Duke. . .. .Frankly Huggy, that proves nothing - for they might be covering up that he drinks coffee to excess. As for his hand in his jacket, have you not heard of inflatable coffee cups. The very fact that there are no coffee cups proves the existence of his desperate need for coffee - otherwise there'd be no need to hide them. . .. .Do I care if Prince William is gay, not particularly. I'm not sure that we will have a monarchy in the foreseeable future. That he may not be as comfortable around girls as other young men his age may be due to his awareness of his position and the intense media interest in anyone he might find attractive.

Tartan Gannet

Velvet, not at all. Wasn't Lord Kitchener gay, and I also believe that Frederick the Great was bisexual, yet one of the greatest Kings and military leaders that Prussia ever had. The sexuality of Lord Louis Mountbatten has also been questioned in recent years although he was well able to command various ships such as HMS Daring, HMS Wishart and HMS Kelly.

I thought the question of Louis Mountbatten's sexuality was based merely on the fact that he was played by Noel Coward in "In Which We Serve". Mind you, Nelson's last words were, allegedly, "Kiss me, Hardy". SC, maybe you'd like to comment of the "Backs to the wall" mentality in the Royal Navy? Doesn't particularly bother me - despite my being a Navy brat, my old man managed to father me and a few others, so not much to prove there...
