Eric excellent!. .. .Never did understand where the word "Scouser" came from; have now learnt that it hails from the Norwegian word "lapskaus". . .Lapskaus being a very erm...... simple dish here; but greatly beloved by the locals. They eat it by the tonne on Norwegian national day, 17th of may when they all turn out in their national costumes and walk in parades.. .Lapskaus is a sort of tasteless soupy looking bland mixture of difficult to recognize ingredients.. .. .Not really very similar to the aformementioned Saint at all.......
