Hi i am new to this forum so sorry if my question sounds a bit :}

My wife and i are planning to move to Colombia SA in the next couple of years ( she is from Colombia and i am from the UK).

With part of this move i am thinking of changing my career and yes you’re correct i am thinking of fulfilling a dream of mine in becoming a Helicopter Pilot.

I was thinking of looking at the full training courses in the U.S. or Canada, as i imagine the South American standards would be closes to the U.S. standards.

Could you tell me if i am heading in the correct direction to achieve this, any advice would be good?

Sorry old chap, flight testing in this forum is about testing aeroplanes, not the testing and qualification of aircrew. I've moved this thread to the Latin American forum where you're more likely to get a useful answer.
