Can anyone give me a rough idea of how many flying hours an average GA flying club pilot does in a year in South Africa.
Moved from the UK six months ago and just trying to compare figures. Thanks

Hey Gas,
Like everything else in Aviation "it depends". If you are trying to work out weather related delays then your brit-based worries are behind you (provided, of course, you're flying on the highveld)! I've had one day cancelled this year and I'm trying to fly at least once a week.
Your best bet for this type of question is probably to ask the chaps at www.avcom.co.za. It's pretty much the only SA GA forum around.
Oh, and btw, WELCOME! It's so nice to have folk moving in the other direction! :D
