I have right here in front of me an absolutely disgusting manifest,to wit;The Official Fleet Air Arm Song Book circa. 1949.

If you're all very good I'll publish some of this stuff.

Having flown with many of them, it would be great to hear some anectodes but I don't think Danny would approve.

Check out the "Traditional Squadron Songs" thread on Military Aircrew forum - some of your stuff may already be there. If not, put it up, the boys would love to see it.

There are ways of getting round expletives ;)

I am pretty much with management on this one, but still, the art critic of a leading paper here could not bring himself to be explicit about the current exhibition of Picasso's "erotica" on public display at the Musee des Beaux Arts in Montreal.

Besides, what is ballet but mobile pornography for middle class ladies?

They say in the Air Force a landing's OK,
If the pilot gets out and can still walk away,
But in the Fleet Air Arm the prospects are grim,
If the landing's pi55 poor and the pilot can't swim!

Cracking show, I'm alive
but I've still got to render my A25

(from memory, and can't accurately remember the rest, soory. I was somewhat inebriated every time I sang it! btw an A25 is an accident report form)

'Me here at last on the ground, you in mid air'
