Sad news, Capt. Luc Mella (Dragon Air) was fatally injured in a car accident in South Africa whilst on holiday.
Memorial service as follows:

Yes he did live in Brussels. He was on vacation in SA.

Yes, it was the location of the memorial service which had confused me.

Luc actually moved from Brussels to live in France some time ago.

Sorry to hear about Luc who I remember when he was B767 F/O in Gulf Air around 1993. Guess this is the same person?

Yes, I think so. Luc flew for the South African Air Force, Derby Flying Club, Britannia, Gulf Air, Cathay Pacific, Sabena and Dragonair.
