MH has increased it's flights/freq or rather operating fleet change from the 77's back to 33's into Middle East and India. Rumour has it that by Apr 2005 MH will be operating with 30 buses. And also quite a number of MH pilots are leaving and maybe have left for "greener pastures". Are we going to see some movement soon or will they resort into taking foreign pilots again? Or worse... cancel the lease!:hmm:

When people leave, it is always good for those who leave and for those remaining.

As for the number of busses, it remains to be seen.

I have also heard that the A330 will also operate KUL-VIE in the near future....is this true?

Boyz's, rumours again, but then again plans are changed at a daily rate in the airline. Heard it was 26 by end of next year, but they are having a difficulty getting more on lease, they've all dried up. Anyway they can have as many as they want, but they aint going to be going no where if they dont get any crew to fly them. A accute shortage of pilots at the moment and expats are not an option at the moment. Maybe planing might push for more working hours for peanuts again. Love to see a management change again, coz i dont think the pilots are going anywhere with this management. Well who knows it might just come tru. Amanagement who would make decisions instead of letting only one person in management to make all of em. Its really sad, but this is why loads of pilots are on their way out, just heard 15 senior f/o's looking at Air Asia since they have been offered command there, plus why not cant be worst of then where they are today. Besides they could always leave for else where after that now with command hours. :ok:

The exodus now is even worse than when the camel was in charge.
What a shame. First class airline and third class management.

in the latest pattern, the A330 will operate KUL-CAI, KUL-IST, KUL-BEI. the KUL-VIE will be operated by the B777.

dont know about the airasia thingy but the fact is a few had left for etihad airways.

dont think the exodus is worse now but more doors are opening esp. for the F/Os so perhaps in the very near future the exodus may increase.

Mas have abundance of senior FO's,just a matter fo time either they move up or they move out.Getting new equipment would ensure they move to the left faster.

It'd be a good move to have new quipment and it seems MAS is shifting to AB probably for commonality now that they have AB380 in the pipeline and talks about getting 320 to replace 737.Could be a strategic move to get AB commited to more contract work for compsite parts in CTRM. Interesting times.
