Does anyone have any first hand experience of the Monarch Crown Service, quality of food, service etc. What can I expect on board?

Flying Manchester to Gibraltar in June :E

It's now been renamed Monarch Scheduled. Very good service, free bar, good food and IFE and friendly staff. Excellent time keeping as well.

I am flying Monarch schedule from Luton to Malaga in June, hopefully it will be a better experience than the IT flight I took with Monarch a couple of years ago.

I'm a big fan - they do what they claim to. Get you there, alive, usually on time, with often very low fares and none of the lo-cost drwabacks that easy/ryan insist on. You get pre-assigned seats, something to eat and professional crew that have been properly trained and are actively managed. It's not First, or even Business: It is however excellent value for money and pleasant enough. The seat pitch and cabin config are IT, but on a 2 - 3 hour sector this is quite manageable and is certainly fair value for the price charged (IMHO)
