Anyone heard about the letter that came out a few days ago?
Have heard a few people talking about it.Once again it was removed from the company email accounts but a few got through.
It is supposed to give a run through of all JH management & their qualifications?!?!

Never read it, deleted it...whatever:confused: at the end of the day sign the contract, do the job, or vote with your feet...it's easy to dump on management when times are tough, but take a walk in their shoes..be "king for a day" and then see the world from both perspectives...so you see it behooves us all to work together and make it successful because we ALL lose if it fails..we now have the best opportunity to restore GF to the winner it once was..."accentuate the positive" we can't afford anything else ladies and gents!:ok:

Hear Hear IronButt!

TOGA, the only 'facts' are the salaries mentioned, as being one of the 'names' in said (illicit) communique, I will state the rest is garbage. Emotional trash from employees who want to go back to the (bad) old days and their insistence that Gulf Air revolves around them rather than the other way round. 1960's UK blue collar attitude!

As IronButt states, this is, possibly the last, time to put back everything these (sorts of) people have taken away over the last decade. The facts are that there are still an awful lot of people in GF who believe that simply turning up for work is enough to command a salary and promotion! The trouble is local laws do not (easily, if at all) provide for appropriate recourse.

Irronbutt57,

To take your point further if it were not for present managements galant efforts to turn this airline around times would really be tuff.

It's sad to see that within our midsts we still have seeds of the past. It's equally sad to see these people trying their best with these stupid anonymous letters to achieve something. They lack the intellect to see that the only thing they achieve is to gain our contempt.

Just read it as well.

Pure bull****. Completely personal interpretation (and alteration) of true facts.
Looks like it was written by a local guy who really deslikes expats in general.
Poor soul! You're a shame to all us GF employees!
You could have spent your time trying to improve your work and the company in general, couldn't you?

IronButt,

My my, haven’t you had a change of heart from your dumping on management days? You’re either looking for promotion or looking to stay around when everybody else gets moved to Muscat.

Next you will be filling in the employee survey and saying we are overpaid!

The only way for a positive outcome to the effort of all employees, is to put on a positive face. why dwell on the past? rise above it all of us and move forward:cool:
